Swim 101 – Learn to Swim – March

$50.00

ET Swim 101 is the perfect class to bridge the gap between ET private swim lessons and ET Masters. Participants should be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping. If you can’t, please consider a private swim lesson with us!

ET Swim 101 provides adult learn-to-swim instruction and practice in a small class format. Participants will be introduced to lap swimming with the goal of eventually joining the ET Masters Swim program.

  • Develop proper kicking and breathing technique
  • Improve stroke efficiency
  • Learn and practice the common swim stroke improvement drills
  • Build endurance

Whether you want to start a lap swimming program or do a triathlon, ET Swim 101 can help you reach your goal. This program is coached by Joe LoPresto and Christa Krause.

"I have never been a good swimmer but needed to figure something out. That’s where Coach Christa came in! She encouraged me and helped me learn proper swim techniques to make swimming more efficient (umm and to not die) in a multi-sport event." - Lori G

"When I first met Coach Joe for my swim assessment, I was nervous. I had swum before, but created shortcuts to compensate for my swimming struggles. I was worried about how it was going to go. After I swam, he said that he saw what I needed to address and had me start in Swim 101 to work making the improvements. In each class, we addressed one technique at a time, building as I was able to repeat each consistently, and that focused approach allowed me to fix my issues-and way faster than I expected! After a few months, I was able to move up to the Masters Swim classes. Not only am I now swimming in a Masters class each week, but I am swimming with confidence and strength! I can't believe how far I've come! Thanks, Coach Joe!" - Eric R.
