CompuTrainer Cycling Classes – JULY
$80.00 Original price was: $80.00.$20.00Current price is: $20.00.
Experience Triathlon is excited to announce a 4 week “July session” of our weekday short course rides. A weekly indoor, computer-controlled, high-intensity interval ride is the best way to keep your FTP and speed levels up as we get into the outdoor ride and race season. Often athletes will ride outside at lower power levels, slowly losing their speed and FTP power levels that were developed over the winter off-season indoor cycling season.
These intensity interval workouts will last in duration from 60-70 minutes in length, and will focus on training an athlete’s engine, from anaerobic intervals to VO2max work, to Functional Threshold stabilization. Plenty of recovery time will be incorporated to these workouts to allow for the best workout possible.
Once a ride is done, enjoy some stretch and relax time in ET’s Stretch and Rest lounge, complete with foam rollers, yoga mats, and coffee!

Transitions 101: Real World Practice for Free Speed on Race Day
Transition practice is possibly the most under-trained aspect of Triathlon racing, yet it is important enough to be considered the “Fourth Leg” of Triathlon! This clinic, offered exclusively by Experience Triathlon and USAT certified coaches, allows athletes an opportunity to practice multiple “takes” of race day, from setting up an actual transition space on a transition rack, to putting on a wetsuit, simulating a race start, swimming, flowing through T1, biking, flowing through T2, and then running.
Athletes will be coached through the entire process, shown tips on how to improve their process, and then allowed to practice multiple times! Athletes will also be timed, so that they have tangible goals to work towards throughout the entire clinic.
This 90-min clinic that can have the possibility of producing as much gain in overall race-day times as an entire season of training in any of the other disciplines of triathlon racing!
Both newer and veteran triathletes will benefit from this clinic. It is the closest simulation one can have to practicing the 4th Leg of Triathlon, multiple times over!
