Vicky knows firsthand what it means to simply want to finish your first triathlon. She also knows how to become competitive. She has been on both sides of the spectrum. Her triathlon experience goes back to 2004. The progression from completing early events to becoming more competitive in her age group is evident in her race results. Having achieved several podium finishes and qualifying for USAT Nationals in 2012 and 2013, she has proven that her methods can take any athlete to the next level.
She will share her insights with you so that you can become strong, fit and fast. Aside from being a USAT Level I Coach, she is a Star Level III Spinning Instructor and has been certified in Heart Zones, NASM Personal Training, TRX, Yoga Fundamentals and ACE Group Fitness. All of her education to get these certifications and keep them renewed, goes into her program development. One such program is known as “Cycle Camp” and she has been teaching the format she designed since 2007. Each winter the class sells out and the majority of participants come back year after year. This is a testimony to her effectiveness and coaching ability.
Vicky volunteers to help many charities as well. She was chosen to be the Team Captain of the Pedal Heads in 2007. The team has grown to be the largest group to ever ride the MS Tour de Farms Ride under her leadership. It has also been one of the top fundraising teams raising close to $240,000.00 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The secret to her success is because she has developed a fun, effective training plan and conducts group rides leading up to the event. She has helped dozens of people achieve their goal of riding a Century. The Pedal Heads have branched out to ride other charity rides and support many wonderful causes.
Vicky worked full time for 25 years, raised 2 children and maintains a strong relationship with her husband of 34 years. She knows how to help you find balance between work, family and fitness. It is her desire to help you find your optimal health and achieve your fitness goals. Her motto is “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing something wrong.” She will make sure you’re doing it right!
