Masters Swim Coach
Rose Ryan is a USAT Level 1 certified coach, running coach and Masters swim coach. Rose did her first triathlon, the ET Naperville Sprint, in August of 2008 after never having done anything athletic before in her life. As soon as she finished, she knew she was a triathlete for life. Since then, Rose has done many running races, sprints and olympic distance triathlons, four Ironman 70.3s, and finished Ironman Wisconsin in September of 2018. Rose has placed in the Athena division at many races, including winning Athena 39 and under four times at the ET Naperville Sprint (2015-2018). She has also qualified for USAT Nationals twice. Rose attributes much of her success to her Experience Triathlon coach, Cathy Obordo, and being a part of Team ET for many years.
Rose is especially interested in working with first-time runners, triathletes and Athena/Clydesdale triathletes. She knows from her own experience that anyone who has the desire to try a tri or lace up running shoes can cross the finish line with hard work and the support of Team ET!
Rose is an English teacher at Schaumburg High School and lives in Naperville with her dog, Madison.
