Coach Christa Testimonials

“I first met with Christa spring of 2023, before I had ever competed in any triathlon. I had my sights  set high though, with my big race being a 70.3 Ironman in October of that same year. Swimming was by far my weakest leg, & Christa immediately assured me that she would have me feeling good, and more importantly, being smart!, in the water. Christa gets SO much credit for teaching and coaching me through all things swimming. I felt GREAT during the 1.2 mile open water swim in Arizona during the 70.3 race, and truly cannot thank Christa enough!! I can’t wait to work with her again for my 2024 goals, and expand upon the swim into other areas of triathlon.” – Lauren M.

“My body is tired tonight but my heart is full. Thank u again to my friends & family for helping me to make my training a priority and my amazing Coach Christa for showing me the way.” – Nicole C

“Your encouragement, flexibility, humor, pushes and modeling of what being a badass looks like mean the world! So grateful to have you as a coach and friend for life!” – Andrea P

“When Christa first asked me to join the team at camp I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if I was prepared for the bike. Of course her retort was something along the lines of a very loving I think you can and you need this. She’s my coach and I trust her. I trust her because she has motivated me by sharing all of her positive vibes and respected me by treating me as an equal regardless of my athleticism. With that kind of support how could I not tryout a new challenge? And boy, was it challenging. Every mile Christa was there to cheerlead, sing, mediate, and motivate. She had our backs. Made sure we were hydrated. Taught us useful tricks, and helped with our nutrition. She’s our rockstar.” – Vickie R

“Finished The Naperville Sprint Triathlon today. I beat last year’s time by 11 minutes!! Thank you so much coach Christa for helping me. I definitely couldn’t have done it without you. I truly appreciate all your support and the support of Team Experience Triathlon. I’m looking forward to many more races with all of you.” – Rebecca A.

“I hope you are all home resting. But I couldn’t miss this opportunity to say thank you, Coach! I about cried when I saw Joe this am and remembered my first phone call with him. He asked me what my goal was, and I said I just want to feel prepared on race day. And I was. Thank you, Christa, so much for all you did for me throughout the last few months. It has been incredible. And I can’t believe how fast I went! Faster than I ever have!!!” – Nicole C.

“I have been working with Christa for at least 9 months now. Let me tell you, I have no idea what I was getting into! hahaha! It’s been great working with her! Can’t be more supportive and upbeat than this woman! However, as supportive as she is, she will also challenge you and make you work hard! We’ve sat down to discuss goals, reassessed, we’ve pivoted and we have flowed, because that is life, constant change. I wasn’t able to participate in the Ironman 70.3 we originally were working for, but all the training paid off for the ET Naperville Sprint Tri, even after I was on vacation for 2 weeks before the race! Christa has been flexible with my schedules and figures out training times and days that fit my lifestyle. I feel we are a great team, couldn’t be happier having her as a coach! Looking forward to keeping training with her towards bigger goals! The #ETway, is the way! Thankful to have found Experience Triathlon!” – Estefania

“I have never been a good swimmer but needed to figure something out. That’s where Coach Christa came in! She encouraged me and helped me learn proper swim techniques to make swimming more efficient (umm and to not die) in a multi-sport event.” – Lori G
