  • ET Virtual Cycling Classes – Week of December 7

    ET Virtual Cycling Classes are a great way to build your bike fitness while having live social interaction with a certified coach and other cyclist.    Coaches will “call out” the various interval workout sets as the ride progresses.  Each class is approximately 60 minutes.

  • ET Virtual Running 101 – Learn to Run for Beginners – Walk/Run Your Way to a 5K!

    This eight week virtual course is designed for walkers or new runners who would like to build to the goal of running a 5K in a structured walk/run plan! Participants will receive a three day/week training plan that will help them safely reduce their walking time and increase their running time, culminating in running a 5K by the end of the program (either in person or a virtual race, depending on what state guidelines allow).

     

    The course will include a weekly Zoom meeting that will cover a variety of topics of interest for beginning runners (shoe selection, warm-ups and stretching, injury prevention, etc.), as well as time for athletes to interact with the group and Coach Rose. Each week’s workouts will also be delivered via email and athletes will complete them at their convenience each week.

     

    The cost for the eight week program will be $50. Athletes will have the option to upgrade to a personal Training Peaks account, which will include a customized training plan and additional coach support throughout each week for an additional $20. The class will begin on May 3 with virtual meetings on Zoom every Sunday at 3:30PM.

  • ET Virtual Running 201 – Reintroducing Running – Getting Back in the 5K Running Game!

    This eight week virtual course is designed for people who have had some running experience in the past and are interested in incorporating running into their life again! Participants will receive a three day/week running workout plan, culminating in a either a virtual or an in-person 5K, depending on what state guidelines allow.

     

    The course will include a weekly Zoom meeting that will cover a variety of topics of interest for athletes reintroducing running into their weekly routine (injury prevention, warm-ups and stretching, nutrition for runners, etc.), as well as time for athletes to interact with the group and Coach Rose. Each week’s workouts will also be delivered via email and athletes will complete them at their convenience each week.

     

    The cost for the eight week program will be $50. The class will begin on May 3 with virtual meetings on Zoom every Sunday at 2:00PM.

  • ET Virtual Strength Classes

     

    Join us for a live virtual strength class with Coach Jada.

     

    Fridays from 7:00-7:45 a.m.

     

    Price: $10 per class drop in fee. Please indicate what class date you plan to attend in the Check Out form.

     

    Registered athletes will receive an email with the Zoom video call connection link prior to the class start time.

  • Free Computrainer Classes October

    Experience Triathlon is super excited to offer FREE CompuTrainer classes in our private cycling studio during the month of October!

     

    Our classes are open to all athletes across the Chicagoland triathlon and cycling communities, not just those that are members of ET. All ability levels are welcome!

     

    Short Ride Classes:   These intensity interval workouts will last in duration for 60 minutes, and will focus on training an athlete’s engine, from anaerobic intervals to VO2max work, to Functional Threshold stabilization.  Plenty of recovery time will be incorporated into these workouts to allow for the best workout possible.

    • Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday (6:30 am) classes are “Short Ride classes” that are 1 hour in length.

     

    Long Ride Classes:   These classes are 2 hours of riding various courses from around the world.  There will be a mix of flatter courses with specific energy system focuses, along with plenty of hilly course rides, including the local favorite of Ironman Wisconsin, for riders to practice riding with instant performance feedback and the company of others to motivate and push themselves.

    • Sunday 8:00 am and 10:30 am classes are “Long Ride classes” that are 2 hours in length.

     

    Our location is near Bond St. in Naperville. Once you rsvp, you’ll get a confirmation email from Coach Joe with the address and additional logistics information about our studio. Note: space is limited. An rsvp is not confirmed until you receive the email from Coach Joe.

  • FREE weeks at Masters Swimming Naperville

    December 20 – 30, 2021

     

    Want to know how an ET Masters Swim Class runs?

     

    Check out our ET Naperville Masters classes FREE over the holidays! Limited to 8 swimmers per class. RSVP (link below) is required for all athletes including our regular Masters group swimmers.

     

    ET Masters is a weekly swimming program designed for intermediate and advanced swimmers.

    USA Certified coaching staff of Experience Triathlon will provide structured workouts and explain how to do the workouts and drills at each one-hour group session.

     

    Is Masters only for Advanced swimmers? 

    Actually, the word Masters does not have anything to do with the level of swimming.  It’s a term that USA Swimming uses to describe “adult” swimmers vs “youth” swimmers.  Our program is filled with intermediate and advanced swimmers of all speeds, abilities, experience levels.  If you can swim laps freestyle in the pool and do at least a total of 1000 yards with many rest stops over the hour-long session, you’ll be fine.  If you’re still learning to swim and struggle to get across the pool for a lap or two, our Swim 101 Learn to Swim or private lessons are the way to go.

    Please note: The ET Training Center is located within the Central Park Business Complex.  For building entry before/after normal business hours and on weekends, click HERE to view a map of the correct parking lot and entry door to the building.  Once you’re in the building and at the front glass door to the Training Center, there is a door bell buzzer on the right-side wall.  Continue to ring the buzzer and someone will let you in.  Registered athletes in our Masters program will be issued a door entry key card for the duration of the current session.
