Training Tip – Do Race Simulation Training
Train for the conditions of your “A” race—if you know your goal race for the year is going to be on a hilly course in the beginning of August and you’ll be running at noon, you should plan to do some hilly long runs in the middle of the day when it’s warm and sunny. If you practice race conditions in training, you can identify and then prepare for issues that may show up on race day.
