Triathlon 101 Day Camp

Triathlon 101 Day Camp

Join other beginner and intermediate triathletes for this day camp focused on triathlon training and racing presented by USA Triathlon certified coaches Joe LoPresto and Suzy Cerra of Experience Triathlon Coaching Services.

The camp will include an open water swim workout and a group bike ride that will teach you how to properly ride during training and on race day.  We’ll also do a run workout right off the bike ride, just like in the race and help you develop the right pacing strategies for success.  Transitioning from swim to bike to run can be complex and stressful.  We’ll demonstrate the best ways to transition and let you practice with feedback from the coaching staff on how to improve your flow.  Other educational topics will include gear selection, training methods, race day logistics and how to mentally prepare for a successful race.

We’ll also cover additional available support resources such as group classes, private lessons and training programs that you can use to help you improve after the camp.

This camp is perfect for those getting ready for short distance triathlons such as SheROX, Batavia, Schaumburg and HRMS Naperville.
